9/28/2010 Dr. Appt.

Had another appt. yesterday
This one was somewhat exciting.

Had a Strep B test,

and she told me that I'm 2 cm. dilated and 75% effaced.
Woot, woot!
(I wasn't really expecting to be that far...)

She told me if I am at least 4-5cm. dilated, she'll induce me on Thurs. Oct. 14.
Otherwise, it'll have to wait.
And I dunno when we'll decide to do it if we can't do it on the 14th.

So I gotta get walking, jumping, etc. to get this little girl out!!
I REALLY hope it'll work out for that day.

Peyton was FULL of questions while we were there.
("Mommy, why do you have to get undressed?" "Why is the Dr. checking the baby?' "Is the baby ready to come out?" "How does the Dr. get the baby out?")
etc.

I'm 36 1/2 weeks now.
And really still feel fairly good.
My back hurts a lot,
and my ribs.

I rigged up a new "bed" last night with a total of 6 pillows arranged "just so."
It really helped me sleep,
I was quite comfortable actually.
If only I didn't have to go potty every hour....

I've also noticed my circulation is really bad lately.
Its ridiculous how fast I get a "dead arm" or my legs fall asleep.

I have prob 10-15 contractions a day.
I've also had some bad cramping.

but I'm not miserable by any means.

And I'm SUPER excited for baby shower on Friday.
:)

Here are pics from 36 weeks.
We are all so ready and so excited to meet her!!!

Ribs

So I carry up "high"
I did with Peyton too.
So now, as the baby is getting much bigger,
and my tummy can only stretch out so far....

This little girl must move up into my ribcage.
Which feels just lovely, I assure you.
She was lodged in there for hours this morning before I could get her to move down.
I think she may have fractured a rib.

(Ok, prob an exaggeration at this point, but still)

It also makes to much harder to breathe as she crowds out my lungs.
I feel so outta shape as I get so breathless,
but its just because my lungs don't have room!

But she def likes hurting me.
Oh, the joys.

Its a good thing that its so worth it in the end.

Water

Water is the key to my success in this pregnancy.
I've found that the less water I drink, the crappier I feel.

So I drink a lot of water.
Its keeps me from getting nauseous and lightheaded.
Especially first thing in the morning.
I have to drink at least 16 ounces right when I wake up.

So, ice water.
I love you so.

9/7/2010 Doc. Appt.

Another boring appt. today.
Weighed in at 129lbs.
Baby heart rate at 146.

Next week its my fun Strep B test,
and then I go in every week after that to prepare for this little one to come!

She is quite a mover.
And I'm having a lot of contractions now a days.
I had one at my Appt. while Doc was measuring me.
Apparently I'd make a good person to teach students on because its really easy to feel my contractions from the outside.

I'm not sleeping too good these days.
And I have a lot of the normal symptoms...
Heartburn, swollen hands/feet, achy back, tired, etc.

But nothing too severe or out of the ordinary.
Def getting very anxious though and hope that that next 6 weeks pass quickly!
Here I am last week at 32 weeks:
