Name Block

Everyone has been asking if we have picked a name out yet.

The answer is NO.

And we won't decide on one until after the baby is born.

We will narrow it down to a couple we like though,
but I'm having a "writers block" if you will when it comes to names this time.

The only one that either Colby or I can think of and like is....

Madison.
Maddie for short.

But I'm not sure if I'm crazy about
Madison Mower.
We'd have to get a good middle name....

But I just haven't been able to come up with any other names that I like,
So drop me some ideas! PLEASE!! ;)

Baby Update--23 weeks

I still don't have any strong cravings, but here are some foods that taste especially good this pregnancy:
Corn on the cob
Mint Ice Cream (had this with Peyton too)
Kit-Kats
Clementine oranges
Crunchy peanut butter
Anything cold, the colder the better.
ICE COLD COLD water.
etc.

I can't think of any others at the moment.

She is moving lots more everyday.
She likes to kick and punch,
but then also likes to readjust and feels like she is just pushing out on me as hard as possible for as long as possible.
Like she is trying to break through or something.
Strong little thing.

And in the last week, you can start to see her movements through my belly.
Thats always so cool/weird to see.

I also re-purposed some old clothes into maternity clothes.
I am pretty proud of those.

I live in skirts and dresses now too.
I gave up trying to make capri's/shorts work.
Normally, I've always hated skirts.
But they are growing on me.
The only thing I hate is that I don't usually have pockets,
So I can never find my phone....

Ah well, such is life.

Other than that, I haven't had a whole lot of other symptoms.
I've been feeling pretty good.
Just hungry, and still have back pain.

Going pretty good though!!!

6/28/2010 Doc. Appt.

I had another basic check-up today.
I weighed in at 117, so not much of a difference.

Baby's heart rate was in the 140's.
I'm still measuring right on track.

Wasn't a terribly exciting appointment.
But my next one is my glucose test
in which I get to drink that awful glucose drink.
yum. Can't wait....

6/7/2010 Ultrasound

Its a baby GIRL!!
We are so excited.
I can't even tell you.
This means more ribbons and bows and pretty dresses.

Peyton was so happy too!

And here I am at 20 weeks.
Halfway done and feeling great!

I weighed in at 115 today which was a pretty big jump.
And so the weight gain begins...
